Meaning of this recording title:

Going back 50 plus years, when I was a teenager, I started to sing a lot. At that time, churches usually used only a piano player or an organist to accompany the soloist. Along with the piano or organ, one microphone would be on a stand to amplify the voice. Most of this recording, and its' name, reflects that era of the 1950's and on. The "And Now" in the title includes three requested songs, using a full orchestra and are from the last 15 years.

As you listen to these "old songs" which have not been heard in churches for many years, may your heart rejoice as they bring back memories and experiences which touched you perhaps when you first became a Christian. May the meaningful words and music awaken your senses of the writer's love, trust, and dependency on the Lord. Whatever circumstance you are in, listen to the words and let them build your faith.

Thinking of 28 years in ministry, the Lord has never failed us. His provision for this faith ministry has been an overwhelming experience and words are so inadequate to thank Him enough. I have been blessed meeting wonderful people throughout the world and I'm thankful for the churches and places where I've been able to present the Lord through music. Thanks goes to many accompanists over the years who have played for me. On this particular recording, a wonderful accompanist, Colleen Adent of Vancouver, WA. has done a lot of the piano accompaniment. I'm thankful for Colleen's availability and her expertise in playing the gospel songs of the past.
